About The Role
Da Vinci is looking for a Principal Consultant to lead our most complex Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation projects and serve as the go-to subject matter expert for our clients and internal teams. This role is a senior-level individual contributor position, combining deep technical expertise, solution design leadership, and trusted client advisory. Principal Consultant will guide clients from discovery through go-live, ensure solution excellence, and mentor consultants to elevate delivery quality across the organization.

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned implementation expert to take ownership of strategic client projects, shape best practices, and help scale our professional services team during a period of rapid growth.
Who You Are
  • A senior implementation professional (8–10 years) with extensive experience in WMS and enterprise software projects
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert (SME) who can bridge technical and operational needs
  • Strong attention to detail & solutions focused to lead Discovery & Design that addresses operational requirements and optimizes workflows with our cloud WMS
  • Skilled at leading integration design across ERP, EDI, MHE, and robotics systems
  • Comfortable working as a senior individual contributor while also coaching and mentoring team members
  • A proactive communicator who can engage audiences from end users to executives
  • Ability to get into the tactical details yet able to maintain a strategic view of client operations and project outcomes
  • Passionate about building scalable processes, project artifacts, and best practices to strengthen delivery


What You'll Do
  • Lead WMS implementation projects as the senior industry and product SME through Discovery, Design, Configuration, Training, UAT and Go-Live
  • Gather client requirements during the discovery phase and translate them into actionable design solutions using out-of-the-box cloud configurations
  • Understand client operations and recommend best practices to optimize ROI and operational efficiency
  • Lead system design reviews and oversee junior consultants’ work for accuracy and consistency
  • Support training, testing, and “go-live” activities, ensuring smooth client adoption
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients on industry best practices and future-proof solutions
  • Deliver training to both client super users and end users
  • Build and maintain reusable project artifacts, documentation, and collateral
  • Provide QA and review of system design solutions from architects and consultants
  • Troubleshoot advanced software-related issues and provide L2/L3 functional support to clients and internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Support, Professional Services)
  • Contribute to product feedback and integration roadmaps as a senior SME

Qualifications
  • 8–10 years of experience in WMS or enterprise software implementations
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex client projects as a senior consultant or equivalent role
  • Deep understanding of the software implementation lifecycle, change management, and client onboarding
  • Strong expertise in API/EDI integrations and leading WMS-to-3rd party integrations (ERP, EDI, MHE, Robotics)
  • Experience working with 3PLs and specific facets of multi-client facilities and multi-site roll-outs
  • Hands-on experience with project management and tracking tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or similar
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot advanced technical and functional issues
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
